Bika Project

In 2014, I was living in Rome, surviving a major trauma and desperately trying to find a way out the darkest of tunnels.

As the song says, I get out with a little help from my friends, new friends who liked to sit around and listen, always available and willing to share their experience, strenght and hope. And biking.

Biking saved my body/soul binding them profoundly and giving me a new understanding of life, by allowing reflection and exhaustion. Biking made me rest better, meet new people, have a healthy social life again.

Biking brought me back to art and these are the results of that period. I was extremely happy, angry and in pain. Only through regular profound psicotherapeutic work could I really begin to heal and live a serene, peaceful, happy life. Picking up all the scattered pieces, recognizing my trauma and how my body held it, reconstructing what was possible to rebuild, letting go of what was definitely lost or broken.
